New Member Welcome Event

Location: East Asheville Library, 3 Avon Road, Asheville, NC 28805

Registration is open for the first New Member event of 2024. Any new member who joined since the 2023 Quilt Show is invited to join us for “Sit, Sew, Be Informed, Make New Friends.” Regular members may register as well to meet the newest creative souls.

Bring some hand work or current project to "show". An iron will be available. While you work on your project, you will meet new people and learn more about the guild activities and how you can fit into the guild.

Registration closes on Thursday, May 16.  Space is limited to 20 people so register soon!

Do you like blocks with small pieces and intricate detail? Do sharp points elude you? Paper piecing makes that possible, some say easy.

In this class you will learn the basics of paper piecing.  To solidify what you learn we will make blocks for a Project Linus quilt.  All fabric will be supplied.
