Couching with Braids and Ribbons for Embellishment by Nancy Hinds

Nancy’s couching demonstration will include various ways to stitch braid to fabric, as well as showing examples of how to use them in your quilts and other decorative ideas.

Applique…I did my way by Linda Cantrell

Linda Cantrell shares her 40 year journey with quilts and unique pictorials using her creations to help tell the story. Linda’s quilt specialty is humorous pictorial applique of her own design.

2:45 – 3:30 pm

No Sewing Until You Quilt It by Ann Holmes

Ann Holmes demonstrates her technique of floating one continuous piece of French Fuse over her drawing to build an intricate, and washable quilt top with NO sewing until after she makes the quilt sandwich.

Saturday, September 28th

Folkwear Clothing

Designer Divas withMolly Hamilton, FOLKWEAR patterns.

Molly Hamilton, moderator and owner of Folkwear, will present many of the original ethnic and vintage garments with samples that are available as Folkwear sewing patterns. Garments created by members of the Designer Divas will also be featured.
