An open group of quilters, et.al., in Western North Carolina who together explore and encourage the use of fiber in art.


  • Regular Gatherings

    NEW MEETING LOCATION AND TIME
    New meeting location: the Girl Scout Building, 64 Weaver Blvd., Asheville on the first Tuesday of the month,
    New meeting time: Noon - Brown Bag Lunch, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Meeting
    Bring show and tell. Location can vary based on topic.
    $1 per meeting collected to defray meeting room expenses (can pay $12 annual at one time).

  • Membership
    Membership is open to anyone interested in fiber art.

    There is currently no membership process other than to attend a meeting, express interest, and get on the e-mail list.

    There is no dues payment required, but a donation toward the rental of space is requested - typically $1 per meeting.
  • Exhibits
    The FAA seeks to exhibit its work in appropriate venues as possible.
